Polyglycerol-3 - Description

Polyglycerol is a clear yellowish viscous liquid with an average molecular weight of 250. It is water soluble and is less hygroscopic than glycerol or diglycerol.

Composition

Solvay Polyglycerol-3 is characterized by a very narrow oligomer distribution.

It contains minimum 85% diglycerol, triglycerol and tetraglycerol with only trace amounts of glycerol.
